Installing MySQL tricks
Somehow when MySQL was installed with pre-downloaded files on Ubuntu 10.* OS, it corrupted some of the deb files.
After hours trying to figure our how to not just uninstall, but correct the deb packages, I finally ran over this site that saved me and Ubuntu OS from being re-installed:
